This website (modernmagnetic.com) is operated by Modern Mag Pty Ltd (ABN 31 150 446 432), an Australian company. This policy explains what personal information the website collects, why, who it is shared with, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
- Enquiries. When you use the contact form we receive your name, email address, your phone number if you give it, and your message.
- Usage. Which pages are visited, and general information about the visitor's browser, device and approximate location, measured with Google Analytics.
You can browse the site without giving us any personal information, and you can always phone us instead of using the form.
How we use it
We use your enquiry only to reply to you and to discuss the work you asked about. We use analytics only to understand how the site is used.
We do not send marketing email, and we do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.
Who we share it with
- DigitalOcean — hosts the website and the contact form.
- Amazon Web Services — delivers the contact form's email to us, from its Sydney region.
- Google — receives the enquiry in our Google Workspace mailbox, and provides Google Analytics.
Google may process the information it receives outside Australia, including in the United States. We will also disclose information where Australian law requires us to.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept in our mailbox for as long as they are useful for the work or our business records. Hosting and email-delivery logs are short-lived. You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets cookies to tell visits apart. The site sets no other cookies and uses no advertising or cross-site tracking. You can block cookies in your browser, or opt out with Google's browser add-on, without affecting the site.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. Contact us through the contact form or email [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
